The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stryker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Slice tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Stryker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Stryker pushes Slice back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Stryker misses with an elbow over the top.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Slice drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Stryker keeps control of Slice as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stryker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Stryker has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Stryker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Slice manages to avoid it.

Stryker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Slice stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Slice. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
