Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Hartwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kunimitsu Tezuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kunimitsu Tezuka will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Hartwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kunimitsu Tezuka! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hartwell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hartwell throws a right hand that Tezuka ducks under and follows up with a left that Tezuka also avoids with ease. Tezuka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hartwell tries to avoid it but Tezuka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hartwell to the ground. Hartwell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hartwell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hartwell lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Hartwell lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tezuka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hartwell as he jumps to the side. Hartwell just misses with a punch to the body.
Hartwell misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tezuka.
Hartwell lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hartwell. Hartwell swings for the body but Tezuka moves out of range.
Tezuka blocks a jab. Tezuka rushes Hartwell and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Hartwell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tezuka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. William Hartwell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kunimitsu Tezuka. Tezuka misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tezuka is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hartwell cracks Tezuka with a right hand to the side of the head. Hartwell works over Tezuka's head and body with a nice combination.
Tezuka is rocked! Tezuka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hartwell pinned against the cage. Hartwell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tezuka is still on wobbly legs! Can Hartwell finish him? Hartwell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hartwell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nice body punch from Hartwell. A combination from Hartwell does no damage. Hartwell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tezuka circles away quickly and effectively. Hartwell circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Tezuka to the canvas! Tezuka doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Hartwell keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Hartwell! William Hartwell very nearly forgot to thank SAVE A FIGHTER amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
