Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tatsuya Kawajiri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Auron Janvier! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janvier moves into range and clinches up with Kawajiri.
Janvier breaks from the clinch.
Kawajiri tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Janvier counters with a low kick, right behind Kawajiri 's knee. Janvier swats away the attempt to clinch by Kawajiri. Kawajiri tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kawajiri doesn't manage to clinch there - Janvier circles away.
Kawajiri wants to clinch but Janvier slips to the side and Janvier counters with a head kick. That will keep Kawajiri thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Janvier circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kawajiri has Janvier up against the cage in a clinch.
Janvier lands on the inside with an uppercut. Kawajiri jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Janvier walks away with a smile on his face. Kawajiri gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kawajiri tries to clinch
and Janvier counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Janvier breaks the clinch.
Kawajiri uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Janvier has time to react.

It looks like Auron Janvier has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kawajiri connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Janvier momentarily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kawajiri swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Janvier.

Janvier is rocked! Kawajiri closes the distance looking to clinch
so Janvier counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Janvier showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Kawajiri has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Janvier should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kawajiri has tightened it up now! Janvier should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tatsuya Kawajiri!
