The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tukoi misses with a wild combination.

Cababat tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cababat thuds his shin into the meat of Tukoi's side. Tukoi misses with a kick to the body.

Cababat moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Tukoi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Cababat cracks Tukoi with an open hand slap. Tukoi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tukoi tries to bum rush Cababat with a series of wild strikes but Cababat uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tukoi throws a head kick but Cababat moves out of range.
Cababat shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tukoi pinned against the cage. Tukoi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tukoi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Tukoi throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Danga de danga de dang - Cababat scores with a four punch combination! No joy there for Tukoi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cababat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tukoi paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cababat throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tukoi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tingkai Tukoi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cababat takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Cababat is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tukoi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

No joy there for Tukoi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tukoi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cababat lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Tukoi is still on wobbly legs! Can Cababat finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cababat clinches. Tukoi seems to have recovered his senses. Tukoi misses with a hook from the clinch. Tukoi tries to break the clinch but Cababat is controlling the position. Tukoi working aggressively here.
Tukoi lands a shoulder strike. Tukoi is trying to break free. Cababat keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tukoi's efforts to push away. Cababat pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cababat's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Cababat duly obliges. Tukoi throws a combination that misses and Cababat counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Cababat is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Cababat counters with a lovely shot to the body. Cababat fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Theo Cababat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cababat moves into range and connects with a jab. Tukoi throws a head kick that misses enabling Cababat to counter with a crisp jab. Cababat lands a nice hook to Tukoi's body. Tukoi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Tukoi misses with a low kick.

Cababat plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Tukoi tries to close the distance and clinch but Cababat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cababat is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Cababat dodges the punch combination from Tukoi.
Cababat cracks Tukoi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Cababat lands a brutal head kick. Tukoi looks out on his feet and Cababat throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Theo Cababat! Theo Cababat spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
