The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marek looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but Marek persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing.

Brown looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Brown misses with a takedown attempt - Marek sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Brown swings around for an armbar but Marek sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Brown's guard.
Marek must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Brown won't let Marek get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Marek has left one of his arms exposed and Brown doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Marek screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
