The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragneel throws an overhand right that lands on Lombard's shoulder, as Lombard tries to avoid the shot.
Lombard misses with a straight left.
Dragneel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dragneel tries to clinch up but Lombard circles away and keeps his distance.

Lombard lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close round but I would say that Natsu Dragneel will probably get the nod.

Dragneel creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Lombard's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Lombard drops to his knees and Dragneel pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
