Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Skywalker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skywalker comes to the cage accompanied by Raised on Rock. Daniels has chosen Copperhead Road as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pete Daniels!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Skywalker swats away the attempt to clinch by Daniels.
Nice body kick there by Skywalker.
Daniels doesn't manage to clinch there - Skywalker circles away.
Skywalker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Daniels.
Daniels shoots for a takedown but Skywalker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Daniels takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Daniels will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Luke Skywalker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pete Daniels.
Daniels tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Daniels closes the distance and clinches up with Skywalker, looking for a takedown. Daniels pushes Skywalker against the cage but Skywalker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Skywalker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Skywalker connects with an inside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Daniels needs to keep his hands up - Skywalker had a free shot at his head there.
Daniels tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Skywalker thuds his right hand into Daniels's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Daniels throws a body kick that misses.
Skywalker punishes Daniels's body with a nice straight punch.
Daniels looks gassed!
Skywalker connects with an inside leg kick.
Skywalker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Daniels sprawls well initially but Skywalker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Skywalker is keen to just control but Daniels is a slippery customer.
Daniels won't allow Skywalker to pass to mount.

Daniels is looking to improve his position.
Skywalker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Luke Skywalker.

Skywalker lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Daniels breaks the clinch.
Daniels changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Skywalker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Skywalker regains half guard.
Skywalker keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Daniels not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Skywalker wants to improve his position but Daniels is controlling well.
Skywalker keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Daniels not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Daniels seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Skywalker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Skywalker is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Daniels scores with a couple of nice shots.
Daniels throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Skywalker to regain full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Skywalker utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Daniels stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Skywalker has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Daniels manages to get his head free but now Skywalker has transitioned to an armbar! Daniels grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Skywalker! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Luke Skywalker!
Post fight, an emotional Luke Skywalker said 'I am calling out whoever is holding 155 lbs belt: this is my time to be three times king. Nothing personal, you are simply the wrong man in the wrong place at the wrong time...'.
