Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Gallagher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Glass!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallagher misses with a straight left.
Gallagher throws a series of punches but Glass avoids them all with ease.
Gallagher could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Glass connects with a nice looking jab.
A thudding body kick lands there by Glass!
Glass blocks a head kick by Gallagher.
Glass lands a high kick to the side of Gallagher's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Glass dives into guard, looking to finish.
Gallagher is rocked!
It looks like Robbie Gallagher has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gallagher is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Oh Gallagher is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gallagher is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Glass dives into side control.
Gallagher seems to have got his legs back now.
Gallagher is being controlled here.
Glass stands up.
Glass connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Gallagher to the floor! Glass dives in looking for the finish!
Gallagher is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gallagher wants to get back to full guard.
Gallagher wants to get back to his feet.
Gallagher tries to roll over but Glass keeps him under control.
Glass perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Glass tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gallagher knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Glass really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gallagher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Glass is controlling the pace.
Glass escapes and gets back to his feet.
Glass avoids the head kick by Gallagher.
Bobby Glass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Glass lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A head kick by Glass - that's a beauty! Gallagher is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Glass can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bobby Glass!
