Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Turn Over!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mariusz Kowal!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowal blocks the body kick.
Kowal dives in and grabs Over's left leg, looking for a takedown. Over pushes down on Kowal's head and hops out.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kowal.
Over throws an off balance right hand
and Kowal counters with a nice leg kick.
Turn Over seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Over throws a leg kick but Kowal moved away.
Kowal fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No luck for Kowal with that takedown attempt.
Turn Over has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mariusz Kowal.

Over could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A swing and a miss from Over.
A low kick from Over misses

and Kowal counters with a single leg into guard. Over didn't expect that.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kowal in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Kowal controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Over looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Over pulls Kowal in close to his closed guard and prevents Kowal from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kowal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Over tries to avoid it but Kowal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Over to the ground. Over escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Over misses the shot to the body.
Kowal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kowal looks gassed!
Over throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kowal avoids the body shot from Over.
Over throws a low kick but Kowal moves out of range easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kowal.
Kowal wants to lay and pray for a moment but Over keeps working.
Kowal working away.

Over holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Over tries to bench press Kowal off him but Kowal keeps the position.
Over wants to control but Kowal postures up.
Over is looking to reverse the position.
Kowal trying to control the action but Over is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kowal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A telegraphed right hand from Over misses the target.
A big left from Over misses.
Over tries to clinch but Kowal is having none of it.
Kowal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Over but Over pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Over doesn't manage to clinch there - Kowal circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kowal shoots for a double leg takedown but Over sprawls well. He's pushed Kowal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Over bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kowal's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Turn Over will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Kowal avoids a low kick by using good footwork.


It looks like Mariusz Kowal has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Over. Kowal does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kowal shoots in for a takedown but Over shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kowal fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kowal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Over tries to avoid it but Kowal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Over to the ground. Over escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Over misses with an uppercut. Kowal saw that one coming.
Kowal on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Over fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kowal checks it well.
Kowal tries to move into range but Over moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Over tries to clinch but Kowal moves out of range.
Kowal is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kowal blocks a low kick nicely.

Nice body punch from Over.
Over tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Over misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kowal walks into a stiff left hand from Over.
Some bone on bone action there as Kowal checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Over lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kowal has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kowal and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Over misses with a few strikes there.
Over lands with a thumping leg kick.
Over lands a nice hook to Kowal's body. Kowal takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Over drives through and clinches with Kowal against the cage.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Over holding his opponent close, against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A right handed body shot lands from Over.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Over creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Over stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Over scores with a shot to the side of Kowal's head.
Over working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Over stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Over pushes Kowal back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Over swings wildly with an uppercut but Kowal uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kowal is trying to pull guard but Over turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Over lands with a short punch from the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Over lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kowal backwards.


Kowal is rocked!
Over lands a big right hand that drops Kowal! The killer instinct kicks in and Over finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Turn Over!
