Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Lowey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lowey's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Land Down Under. Mike Freeman struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lowey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lowey throws a left and a right that both miss
and Freeman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lowey connects with a body shot that sends Freeman's belly button to the back.
Peter Lowey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lowey misses with a two punch combination.
Lowey misses with a right hand
and Lowey takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Freeman throws a right and a left that Lowey avoids nicely.
Lowey rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Freeman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lowey tests Freeman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Freeman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lowey is fending him off so far but Freeman persists. Nope, Lowey circles away and we're back to standing.

Lowey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Freeman.

Freeman scores with a decent looking hook.
Lowey cracks Freeman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Mike Freeman has been cut.
Freeman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lowey fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Freeman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Freeman looks gassed!
Lowey misses with a wild body shot.
Lowey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lowey swings for the body but Freeman moves out of range.
Lowey dodges the punch combination from Freeman.
Freeman throws a shot from downtown. Lowey moves away and avoids it.

Freeman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lowey tests Freeman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lowey lands a big right hand that sends Freeman crashing to the mat! Lowey stays standing though and waves Freeman back to his feet!
Freeman is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lowey scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Freeman doesn't seem bothered though.
Freeman is still on wobbly legs! Can Lowey finish him?
Lowey digs a good hook to Freeman's body.
A combination from Lowey does no damage.
Freeman connects with a nice looking jab.
Freeman seems to have recovered his senses.
Freeman takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Freeman walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Freeman limp body while Lowey jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
