Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Herkko Lokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Schofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Herkko Lokka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Schofer! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lokka has a takedown stuffed. Schofer moves in looking to clinch but Lokka pushes him off. Lokka throws a right and a left that Schofer avoids nicely. Lokka connects with a jab. Schofer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lokka! Schofer mounts Lokka! Really nice guard pass there! Schofer jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lokka manages to avoid the submission attempt. Schofer wants to control but Lokka is keeping him busy. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lokka is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Schofer tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Lokka's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Schofer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lokka keeps working. Lokka is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lokka wants to get back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lokka connects with a crisp jab. Schofer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lokka swats him away and circles back towards the center. Schofer shoots in for a takedown but Lokka shows good takedown defense. Lokka with a poor takedown and Schofer counters with a good low kick that Lokka was not able to check.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lokka tries to clinch up and Schofer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Schofer. Schofer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lokka swivels though and keeps the full guard. Schofer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lokka keeping moving, preventing Schofer from controlling successfully. Schofer prevents Lokka from getting back to his feet. Lokka is breathing heavily. Schofer advances to half guard. Lokka slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Lokka keeping full guard, as Schofer tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Schofer drops back looking for a leg! Lokka is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lokka manages to kick Schofer off! Schofer jumps back into Lokka's guard. Schofer tries to free his leg and advance position but Lokka is retaining full guard. Lokka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schofer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lokka throws his legs up looking for a submission but Schofer uses it to pass to side control.
Schofer has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lokka is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Schofer yanks on the arm and Lokka is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Schofer.
