Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Texans Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Von Makarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kane might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to FACE THE PAIN. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makarov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kane avoids it really well and circles away.
Kane connects with a right hand. Makarov shakes it off.
Kane lands with a slapping head kick.
Makarov lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Makarov shoots in looking for a takedown. Kane tries to sprawl out of it but Makarov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Makarov looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Makarov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kane was covering up waiting for the punch and Makarov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kane is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Makarov is controlling him.

Kane has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Makarov off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Kane shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Makarov sprawls well. Makarov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kane gets slowly back to his feet.

Makarov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kane after a bit of a struggle.

Makarov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kane manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kane.

Makarov throws a series of punches but Kane avoids them all with ease.

Kane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Makarov tries to clinch up but Kane circles away and keeps his distance.

Makarov cracks Kane with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Makarov looking to control but Kane is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

BOOM! Makarov connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Kane is in a horrible position here. Makarov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Makarov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kane can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Makarov breaks from Kane's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Von Makarov dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Makarov throws a right and a left that Kane avoids nicely.
Makarov throws a nice looking combination but Kane bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kane shoots in for a takedown but Makarov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Makarov shoots in for a double leg but Kane sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Makarov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kane tries to avoid it but Makarov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kane to the ground. Kane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kane will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Makarov up against the cage.

Makarov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kane pulls his leg out and moves away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Von Makarov is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
