Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Saul Williams-Black Stacey. Tyson Jones could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Andre Banks's chin.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Banks! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in for a takedown but Banks shows good takedown defense. Jones throws a head kick but Banks moves out of range.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Banks bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jones moves in looking to clinch but Banks pushes him off. Jones throws a leg kick but Banks moved away. No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt. Banks looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Banks on the ground. Banks is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well. Banks content to control rather than advance. Banks wants to pass to mount but Jones is defending the position.

Well, with Banks on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Jones is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Jones is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Banks gets his way!

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Banks hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
