Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Takashi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takashi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Takashi tries to sprawl but Campbell drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Takashi tries to kick Campbell off but Campbell keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Takashi is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Takashi is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Campbell scores with a couple of nice shots.
Campbell is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Takashi sees it coming and defends easily.

Takashi is working to avoid the ground and pound but Campbell connects with a decent elbow.
Campbell cracks Takashi with a big right hand but Takashi just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Takashi is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Check out the look on Campbell's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Campbell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Takashi wants to get back to his feet.

Campbell looks up at the clock and then as Takashi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Campbell smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Campbell working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Takashi can do anything to dispel that myth.
Takashi explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Campbell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Takashi sprawls well initially but Campbell persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Takashi is squirming around, avoiding Campbell's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Campbell pushes Takashi up against the cage in a clinch.
Takashi wants to break the clinch but can't.
Takashi prevents the takedown attempt.

Takashi tries to land knees in the clinch but Campbell avoids the damage to the body.
Takashi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Takashi closes the distance and clinches.
Takashi cracks Campbell with a nice body shot.
Takashi can't find room to land a body shot as Campbell controls the action.
Takashi lands a hook to the side of the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Takashi tries to throw a body punch but Campbell avoids it by throwing Takashi back against the cage.
Takashi makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Takashi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice body punch from Takashi.
Campbell get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Campbell stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Takashi runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryu Takashi!
Ryu Takashi bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
