The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kau tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kau moves into range and clinches up with Jackson.
Kau misses with a body punch.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Kau creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kau tightens his grip and picks Jackson up, before dumping him to the ground. Jackson manages to land in guard.
Kau must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jackson is trying to control the position but Kau postures up.
Jackson has momentary wrist control but Kau slips an elbow through the middle.
Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kau doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jackson is tightening it up a little... Kau has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kau reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kau taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jackson!
