And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Jones!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apollo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Apollo trying to control the pace.
Apollo is working for a kimura but Jones is defending it quite comfortably.
Apollo wants to work for an arm triangle but Jones is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Apollo is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Apollo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Apollo eventually gives up the hold.
Apollo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jones tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Apollo!
