Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil DeBlunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeBlunt comes to the cage accompanied by Westside Connection - Bow Down. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Phil DeBlunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paddy Fox! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fox swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Fox shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has DeBlunt pinned against the cage. DeBlunt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fox slips under a jab from DeBlunt. DeBlunt lands a jab-cross combination. DeBlunt just misses with a punch to the body.

A jab from Fox finds it's way through DeBlunt's defenses. Fox thows a left - swing and a miss! Fox tries a low kick but DeBlunt avoids it. DeBlunt connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. This has been an exciting period of action! Jab by DeBlunt. DeBlunt connects with a body shot that sends Fox's belly button to the back. A punch lands to the side of Fox 's head but he takes it in his stride. DeBlunt stuns Fox with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Fox throws a big shot that misses. DeBlunt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. DeBlunt thows a body shot but no joy. DeBlunt tries to keep at a distance but Fox has taken the fight into the clinch. Fox misses with some punches.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Fox is trying to pull guard but DeBlunt turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. DeBlunt is trying to push Fox away but Fox has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Fox throws an elbow but it misses.

It looks like Phil DeBlunt has been cut. Fox lands a damaging elbow. DeBlunt has had enough of the clinch but Fox keeps him there for the moment. DeBlunt is trying to force a seperation but Fox has the dominant position. Fox tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. DeBlunt smiles and moves away.
Phil DeBlunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paddy Fox. Fox ducks under a wild hook from DeBlunt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fox lands with a thumping leg kick.
Paddy Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DeBlunt bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fox's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fox gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Fox lands a nice elbow. Fox taking a breather. DeBlunt takes a knee right on the jaw!
DeBlunt tries to circle away but Fox has him pinned against the cage. Fox has DeBlunt pushed against the cage. Fox lands a right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DeBlunt wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fox has him pressed against the cage. Fox successfully pulls guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Fox has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but DeBlunt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. DeBlunt wants to get up but he can't break Fox's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Fox throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fox pushes a forearm under DeBlunt's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, DeBlunt is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
