Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aah Aah Ey Ey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dragos Podgaetschii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ey Ey's entrance music is http://youtu.be/1QP-SIW6iKY. A fine choice. Dragos Podgaetschii told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aah Aah Ey Ey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dragos Podgaetschii!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Podgaetschii gets a clinch.
Ey Ey has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Podgaetschii is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Podgaetschii scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Ey Ey tries to score a body lock takedown but Podgaetschii shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Podgaetschii manages to break the clinch.
Podgaetschii connects with a body shot that sends Ey Ey's belly button to the back.
Podgaetschii misses with a takedown attempt - Ey Ey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Podgaetschii drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ey Ey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ey Ey is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Podgaetschii defends well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ey Ey has his foot on Podgaetschii's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Podgaetschii works his way back into a safe position though.

Ey Ey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Podgaetschii gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ey Ey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ey Ey is breathing heavily.
Ey Ey can't keep his opponent in guard - Podgaetschii advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Podgaetschii thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Ey Ey is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Podgaetschii pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Podgaetschii might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ey Ey kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Podgaetschii lands a big shot there that rocks Ey Ey but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Podgaetschii pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Podgaetschii is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ey Ey is surviving well by controlling Podgaetschii's body position as best he can.

Well Podgaetschii has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
