The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cavanhas is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wamasaki is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Cavanhas to the mat. Cavanhas regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Wamasaki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
