Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Goody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goody is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Go to Sleep - Eminem. Bruce Banner had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Banner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles Goody! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goody lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Banner at a distance.
Banner shoots in and drives through. Goody sprawls well. Goody lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Banner takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Goody scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Banner fails with a takedown attempt. Goody fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Banner manages to avoid it. Banner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Goody as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Banner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Banner fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banner closes this distance looking for a takedown but Goody circles away. Goody scores with a punch to the head. Goody throws a hook to the side of Banner's head but Banner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Banner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Banner shoots for a double leg takedown but Goody sprawls well. He's pushed Banner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Banner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Goody as he jumps to the side. Banner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Goody's waist but Goody gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Banner off to one side. Goody checks the leg kick nicely there.
Banner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Goody misses with a series of wild punches.
Banner avoids a punch combination nicely.
Charles Goody is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Goody's waist but Goody gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Banner off to one side. Banner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Goody as he avoids it easily. Goody paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. No luck for Banner with that takedown attempt. Banner is breathing heavily. A nice combination there by Goody.
Goody looks to land a combination but Banner avoids it well. Goody throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Banner.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Banner throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Goody connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Banner tries a head kick but it misses.
Banner scores a takedown into full mount! Goody is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Banner working for a submission but Goody is keeping him at bay. Goody trying desperately to get to his feet.
Banner is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Goody has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Goody! Banner is looking for a triangle but Goody pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charles Goody dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Goody throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Banner scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Goody pushes Banner off looking to stand but Banner dives back in and keeps control.
Banner works his way into side control. Banner tries to advance to mount but can't. Banner tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Banner has an Americana. Goody didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Banner is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Banner hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
