Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bando.
A combination from Bando does no damage.
Bando tries a head kick but it misses.
Bando wants to clinch up but Gilmore keeps it at a distance.
Gilmore showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bando.
Bando fails to land with a series of punches.
Bando misses with a few strikes there.
Bando tries to clinch but Gilmore is having none of it.
Bando shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bando showed some decent athleticism there.
Gilmore makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gilmore.
Gilmore looking for a sweep. Not yet Gilmore, not yet.
Gilmore is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Gilmore is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bando throws and elbow that misses. Gilmore uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bando's guard. Nice move by Gilmore!

Gilmore trying to control the position from guard on top but Bando is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gilmore wants to pass the guard but Bando is keeping the position.
Bando kicks Gilmore off and gets to his feet.
Gilmore avoids the head kick by Bando.
Bando moves in looking to clinch but Gilmore pushes him off.
Bando throws a sloppy head kick and Gilmore moves out of range easily.
Gilmore decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bando is trying to maintain the position but Gilmore is very close to passing his half guard.
Bando is breathing heavily.
Gilmore is working for a kimura but Bando is defending it quite comfortably.
Bando pushes Gilmore off looking to stand but Gilmore dives back in and keeps control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Gilmore is looking for a kimura but Bando is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gilmore to get the leverage.
Bando looks like he's trying to stand up.
Gilmore is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Bando!

Gilmore working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Bando turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Gilmore off and cradles Bando's limp body as Gilmore celebrates with his corner.
