The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legion ducks right into an uppercut from Overeem.
Overeem works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Legion keeps the fight on the outside.
Overeem tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Legion paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Overeem doesn't manage to clinch there - Legion circles away.
Overeem moves in looking to clinch but Legion pushes him off.
Overeem connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Kane Legion has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Legion closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Overeem is looking to escape.
