The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takanen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Punch to counter with a crisp jab.
Punch slips under a jab from Takanen.
Takanen is looking to chop away at Punch's legs.
Good shot there by Punch.
Punch smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Punch chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Takanen can pounce on him.
Takanen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Punch.
Punch scores with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Punch moves out of range of the strikes.
Punch takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Takanen throws a push kick but Punch slaps the foot to one side.
Punch looks for a takedown but Takanen sprawls well.

Takanen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Punch's head backwards.
Punch throws a hook but Takanen avoids it easily.
Punch checks a leg kick.
Punch waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Takanen.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Punch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fast Punch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Takanen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Punch.
Punch throws a series of punches but Takanen avoids them all with ease.
A left lands for Punch.
Takanen fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Punch is out of range.
Punch misses with a low kick.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Takanen.
Takanen closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Punch throws a lazy uppercut
and Takanen counters with a solid body kick.
Takanen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Punch.
Takanen jabs Punch right on the nose. Punch blinks but takes it well.
Takanen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Punch takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Punch throws an off balance right hand
and Takanen counters with a straight right hand.

Punch is rocked!
Takanen throws a nice outside leg kick.
Oh Punch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Takanen throws an overhand right that drops Punch like a sack of potatoes! Takanen dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
