The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uusisto moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Uusisto uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Velmu has time to react.

Uusisto has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Velmu to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Uusisto is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Velmu pulls down on the head and he's put Uusisto to sleep! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Jyrska Velmu thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
