Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sun Kato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hezekiah Stoltfus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kato comes to the cage accompanied by STILL BALLIN. Stoltfus has chosen The Chase as his entrance music. Hezekiah Stoltfus has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoltfus steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kato. That one must have hurt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kato.
Kato finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Stoltfus moves out of range of the body kick.
Kato throws a hook but Stoltfus blocks it.
Kato gets caught flat footed, as Stoltfus shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kato pulls Stoltfus in to control the position.

Stoltfus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kato has hold of Stoltfus's hands but Stoltfus slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Stoltfus is looking to take a break and control but Kato is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

You can see the frustration on Stoltfus's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Stoltfus sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Kato throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That kick from Kato tenderised Stoltfus's leg. Stoltfus is trying to keep his angry face on.

Stoltfus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kato cracks Stoltfus with an open hand slap.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stoltfus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kato moves away.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Kato fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stoltfus.
Stoltfus takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kato scores with a head kick. Stoltfus tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Hezekiah Stoltfus has been cut.
Kato throws a sloppy head kick and Stoltfus moves out of range easily.

Stoltfus thows a huge punch but Kato dodges it nicely.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stoltfus in particular looking to stall.

Kato is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kato takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Stoltfus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Stoltfus wants to improve his position but Kato is controlling well.
Kato content to control rather than advance.
Kato is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stoltfus sees it coming and defends easily.

You can see the frustration on Stoltfus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Kato gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Stoltfus closes the distance and clinches up with Kato, looking for a takedown. Stoltfus pushes Kato against the cage but Kato circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sun Kato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hezekiah Stoltfus.

Kato takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Stoltfus shoots in for a takedown but Kato shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Kato fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stoltfus manages to avoid it.
Stoltfus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
And that's the end of the fight!
