The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calhoun tries to clinch
and Robinson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Calhoun lands a big head kick that sends Robinson tumbling to the mat! Calhoun takes a step backwards and waves Robinson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Marcus Robinson has been cut.
Jayce Calhoun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Calhoun tries to clinch
and Robinson counters with a single leg into guard. Calhoun didn't expect that.
Calhoun is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Robinson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Calhoun looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Robinson is looking to work some ground and pound but Calhoun has wrist control.
Calhoun not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Robinson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Calhoun looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Robinson has hold of Calhoun's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Calhoun tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Robinson cranks the arm and Calhoun screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Calhoun, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
