Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Numa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammad Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Numa comes into the arena with Ladies and Gentlemen blaring out of the sound system. Malik has chosen Stronger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mohammad Malik has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Keiji Numa's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malik tries to clinch there but Numa circles away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Numa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Malik has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Malik and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Malik fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Numa to the ground. Malik is now in Numa's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Numa is trying to keep Malik in close.
Numa is looking for a triangle but Malik pushes his legs off easily.
Numa throws his legs up looking for a submission but Malik uses it to pass to side control.
Malik tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Malik has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Numa regains half guard.
Malik is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Malik is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Numa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Numa shrugs it off.

Numa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Malik's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Malik's back!
Malik tries to roll but Numa sticks to his back.
Numa has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Malik has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Numa is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Malik knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Malik for a finish.

Numa has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Malik is in real trouble here. Numa gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Malik is tapping out! Numa wins by rear naked choke!

After winning the bout, Keiji Numa thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
