Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shadow Deathgrip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrus Laane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Akon - Never Gonna Get It. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Andrus Laane was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shadow Deathgrip!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrus Laane!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Laane coming out on top.
A telegraphed right hand from Laane misses the target.
Laane tries to clinch there but Deathgrip circles away.
Deathgrip fails with the takedown.
Laane misses with a double jab.
Nice shot by Laane.
Nice sprawl there from Laane as Deathgrip shoots in.
Laane defending well as Deathgrip loads up on a big left hand.
Deathgrip bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Laane's head backwards.
That kick from Laane tenderised Deathgrip's leg. Deathgrip is trying to keep his angry face on.
Deathgrip gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Deathgrip really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Laane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Deathgrip dives in and grabs Laane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Laane pushes down on Deathgrip's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shadow Deathgrip. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Deathgrip scores with a decent looking hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Laane throws a quick inside leg kick.
Laane fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Deathgrip.
Laane lands a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Laane with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Laane feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Deathgrip's calf.
Deathgrip slips a straight right by Laane.
Laane swings for the body but Deathgrip moves out of range.
Deathgrip tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Laane swivels and escapes.
Deathgrip avoids the head kick by Laane.
Laane cracks a nice hook into Deathgrip's ribs.
Laane scores with a one two! Deathgrip had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Laane throws a jab but it's blocked by Deathgrip.
Deathgrip has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Laane finds it's way round the side to connect with Deathgrip's head.
Laane is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Laane closes the distance but Deathgrip moves to the side
and Deathgrip counters with a nice double leg into side control. Laane won't be happy with that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Laane is trying to get back to his feet.
Deathgrip is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Laane has escaped the position, nice work there.
Deathgrip is trying to get an arm triangle but Laane is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Deathgrip working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Laane is trying to buck Deathgrip off.
Laane takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Deathgrip has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Laane is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Deathgrip yanks on the arm and Laane is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Deathgrip.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Shadow Deathgrip!
