Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Falco. No joy for Kirk on that attempt.
Falco misses with a takedown attempt - Kirk sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kirk. Falco does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kirk buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Falco looks gassed!
Kirk fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Falco, pushing him back against the cage.
Kirk breaks from the clinch.
Kirk tries to score with a low kick but Falco moves his leg out of the way.
Kirk tries to land a leg kick but Falco saw it coming and moves away.
Falco takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kirk shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Falco as he jumps to the side.
Kirk shoots in for a takedown but Falco shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Kirk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Falco misses with a takedown
and Kirk counters by moving into the clinch.

Kirk instigates a clinch.
Kirk lands a good knee to the midsection. Falco won't want to take too many of those.

Horrible takedown by Falco or perhaps it was just good defense by Kirk which made him look bad.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Falco is defended easily by Kirk.
Kirk misses with a body shot.
Kirk pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kirk tries to land a leg kick but Falco saw it coming and moves away.
Kirk shoots in for a double leg but Falco sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kirk throws a sloppy head kick and Falco moves out of range easily.
Falco stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Falco wants it to stay on the feet.

Kirk tries for a takedown but Falco sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kirk is looking to score with low kicks.
Kirk clinches.
Kirk pulls guard successfully.
Kirk is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Falco defends well.
Falco is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kirk is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kirk has escaped and now he's on top!
Kirk looking to sit in guard and control but Falco gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kirk not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kirk looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kirk wants to get back to his feet but Falco is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kirk is trying to control the position but Falco postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Rocco Falco's cut.
That's time! Kirk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kirk tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Falco swivels and escapes.
James Kirk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Falco leaves Kirk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kirk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Falco counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Kirk wants to sweep but no luck.
Kirk trying to keep a closed guard but Falco is proving a slippery customer.
Falco won't allow Kirk to sweep him here.
Falco drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kirk manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Falco has Kirk in his guard.
Falco is breathing heavily.
Kirk is posturing up here but Falco has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kirk tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kirk has to tap! Slick submission there by Falco!
