Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Herer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Taylor might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Miseria Cantare - The Beginning. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Herer!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herer on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Herer shoots for a takedown but Taylor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Taylor takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Herer looks to clinch
and Taylor counters with a right hand to the body.
Herer drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Herer trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Taylor keeping moving, preventing Herer from controlling successfully.
Herer is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Taylor controls Herer momentarily but Herer frees himself.
Herer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Herer wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jack Herer.
Taylor steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Herer.
Herer rushes Taylor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Herer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Taylor fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Herer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Taylor avoids it really well and circles away.
Jake Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Herer.
Herer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Taylor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Herer somewhat.
Taylor throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Herer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Taylor as he avoids it easily.
Taylor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Herer.
Taylor thows a body shot but no joy.
Taylor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Taylor throws a right and a left that Herer avoids nicely.
Herer tries to clinch there but Taylor circles away.
Taylor misses with a double jab.
Herer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Taylor throws a jab but it's blocked by Herer.
Taylor connects with a body shot that sends Herer's belly button to the back.
Herer scores with a head kick. Taylor tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Herer clinches up with Taylor and pushes him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Herer tries to pull guard but Taylor won't allow it.
Herer manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Taylor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Herer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taylor looking to sit in guard and control but Herer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Herer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Herer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Taylor uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Taylor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Herer has time to react.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Taylor throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Taylor swats away the attempt to clinch by Herer.
Herer throws a head kick that half lands.
Herer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Herer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jake Taylor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Taylor connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Herer's hands.
Taylor tries to bum rush Herer with a series of wild strikes but Herer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Herer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Taylor finds it's way round the side to connect with Herer's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jack Herer will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Herer ducks under a wild hook from Taylor.
Taylor throws out a loose jab but Herer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Taylor throws a combination that misses
and Herer counters with a head kick. That will keep Taylor thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Oooooh!!! Taylor has knocked Herer down with a huge combo! Taylor steps away and waves a wobbly Herer back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Herer is rocked!
It looks like Jack Herer has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Taylor cracks Herer with a left hook right on the temple and Herer goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Taylor lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Herer is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jake Taylor!
