Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Pitney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elias Nielsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nielsen has chosen Cornstick Feat. Benny Jamz & Pharfar - What Money Can Do as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Pitney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elias Nielsen!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitney fails with the takedown

so Nielsen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Nielsen wants to pass the guard but Pitney is keeping the position.
Pitney is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nielsen goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pitney has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Nielsen but great work by Pitney.

Nielsen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Pitney manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

I would just about give that final round to Elias Nielsen.
I've got Nielsen winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
