Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leopold Stotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Bashor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bashor has chosen Monster by Skillet as his entrance music. Leopold Stotch has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leopold Stotch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Bashor! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stotch looking to score a takedown here. Bashor is defending well but Stotch drives through and ends up in Bashor's guard. Stotch stops Bashor from standing up. Stotch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stotch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Stotch content to stall in guard here. Stotch lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Bashor is trying to keep Stotch in close.
Stotch trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stotch thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Stotch wants to pass the guard but Bashor is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stotch won't allow Bashor to get back to his feet. Bashor keeping full guard, as Stotch tries to pass. Stotch with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Stotch stops Bashor from standing up. Bashor keeping moving, preventing Stotch from controlling successfully. Bashor wants to stand up but Stotch is controlling him. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stotch accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stotch with a flurry of punches that miss. Stotch lands a couple of elbows. Bashor is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Stotch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bashor not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bashor can do anything to dispel that myth. Stotch drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Stotch as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bashor screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Stotch! Nice submission victory there!
