Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Jom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryo Hazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hazuki is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Shenmue Theme. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ryo Hazuki!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jom tries to bum rush Hazuki with a series of wild strikes but Hazuki uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jom throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hazuki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jom.
Jom throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jom swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hazuki makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hazuki waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jom.

Hazuki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jom sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jom misses with a wild body shot.
A big left from Hazuki misses.
Hazuki swings widly with a right hand
and Jom cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hazuki throws a leg kick but Jom checks it.
Hazuki throws a jab when Jom was well out of range.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Hazuki! Jom is backing up but he can't get away as Hazuki lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Jom and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ryo Hazuki!
A relieved looking Ryo Hazuki thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
