Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Via Dios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Messinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dios might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sandstorm. Messinger has chosen Huckleberry by Ichabod as his entrance music. Via Dios has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Will Messinger!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Messinger lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Dios circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dios jabs Messinger to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Dios works the jab nicely.
Dios uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Messinger.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Messinger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dios takes the fight into the clinch.
Messinger tries to land knees in the clinch but Dios avoids the damage to the body.
The referee is keeping an eye on Dios - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Messinger ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Messinger no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Messinger is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Messinger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Messinger shoots in and gets a takedown into Dios's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dios is on top in guard.

Dios really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
