Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Palhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ana Balestra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palhares kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Flo Rida- 54321. Jake Palhares could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ana Balestra's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Palhares .
Balestra takes the fight into the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Palhares changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Balestra tries to avoid it but Palhares manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Balestra to the ground. Balestra escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Balestra wants the takedown. Palhares is fighting it off but Balestra persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Palhares 's guard against the cage.
Balestra is posturing up here but Palhares has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Balestra tries to roll out but it's too tight and Balestra has to tap! Slick submission there by Palhares !
