Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Buck Laow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buck Laow looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buck Laow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leroy Lewis! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis fails to land the takedown. Lewis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Laow quickly recovers to half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Lewis is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Lewis is taking a breather. Laow says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Laow taking some punishment here, with Lewis in his half guard. Lewis looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Lewis lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laow wants to control but Lewis is keeping busy and won't allow it. Lewis is trying to control. Laow wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Laow is trying to maintain the position but Lewis is very close to passing his half guard. Lewis is pressing down on Laow's thigh, looking to free his foot. Laow is holding on for now. Laow is trying to get back to full guard. Lewis uses his free foot to push down on Laow's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Laow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lewis with good strikes from the mount here! Lewis lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Lewis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Laow is breathing heavily. It looks like Lewis might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis avoids the attempt from Laow to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Laow keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lewis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lewis content just to control the position here. Laow is squirming around, avoiding Lewis's attempts to control the action. Lewis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lewis controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown by Lewis or perhaps it was just good defense by Laow which made him look bad. Lewis fails in his attempt to clinch. Lewis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Laow sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Lewis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Laow's guard. Laow keeping moving, preventing Lewis from controlling successfully. Laow looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Laow being controlled here, momentarily.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Leroy Lewis wasn't active enough on the ground. Laow avoids the head kick by Lewis.
Laow gets caught flat footed, as Lewis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lewis looking to pass the guard. Lewis wants to control from the top but Laow keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laow is trying to keep Lewis in close.
Laow might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lewis engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Buck Laow just wasn't active enough. Lewis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Lewis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Laow sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Buck Laow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leroy Lewis.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Laow defends it nicely. No luck with that takedown attempt from Laow. Lewis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lewis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Laow is trying to defend but Lewis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Lewis wants to control but Laow is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lewis perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The fighters are battling for position here. Laow manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Lewis controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Leroy Lewis was stalling too much, according to the referee. Excellent takedown into side control there by Lewis. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Laow is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Laow is trying to work for a sweep but Lewis has mounted him! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leroy Lewis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Laow closes the distance and clinches. Lewis turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Lewis is looking to take a break and control but Laow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lewis in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Laow is trying to buck Lewis off. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis decides to take the fight back to the feet. Lewis dives in and scores a takedown into Laow's guard. Lewis pushes down on Laow's leg and manages to get into half guard. Laow on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Lewis throwing shots but Laow is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Laow is trying to control but can't.
Lewis controlling the pace. Lewis is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Laow sees it coming and defends easily. Still in half guard, Lewis seems content to control. This has been an exciting period of action!
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lewis rushes Laow and presses him up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Laow stops a takedown attempt from Lewis.
Laow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lewis scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Laow is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lewis is controlling him well. Leroy Lewis has got the better of the ground game so far. Lewis staying calm.

Leroy Lewis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Lewis misses with a body shot.
Laow shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lewis defends it nicely. Lewis gets the takedown into side control. Buck Laow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Leroy Lewis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Laow wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
And that's the end of the fight! Leroy Lewis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lewis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
