Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wolfgang Lindemann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel McFadden!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFadden tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lindemann manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lindemann keeps the fight on the outside.

Lindemann scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
McFadden tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lindemann wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lindemann wants to control but McFadden is keeping him busy.

Lindemann is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McFadden knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Lindemann thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
McFadden is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
McFadden is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lindemann's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lindemann's back!

It looks like Wolfgang Lindemann has been cut.
Lindemann trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Lindemann is trying to remain composed but McFadden is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
McFadden is punishing Lindemann with some ground and pound.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McFadden misses with punches from the back.
McFadden throws a series of strikes and Lindemann wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here.
McFadden raining down shots from the mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McFadden cracks Lindemann with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.


Lindemann is rocked!
McFadden postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Lindemann out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! McFadden goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Daniel McFadden!
A relieved looking Daniel McFadden thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
