The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherman tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and McHale moves into the clinch.

McHale throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Shermans head.

Sherman tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
McHale is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Sherman tries to break free but McHale pushes him back against the cage.

McHale scores with a nice hook to the head.
Sherman working hard to break the clinch.
McHale avoids the elbow strike from Sherman, against the cage.
McHale's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
McHale lands a right hand.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, McHale creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Sherman avoiding damage as McHale throws knees to the body.
Sherman tries for a takedown but McHale manages to get underhooks.
Sherman has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. McHale avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
McHale lands with a left to the head.
Sherman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but McHale pulls him back up using the underhooks.
James McHale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Sherman.
McHale lands a hook that snaps the head of Sherman backwards.

McHale lands a big right hand that drops Sherman! The killer instinct kicks in and McHale finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by McHale!
