Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Opoku Adamu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loco Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loco Sanchez has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Opoku Adamu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamu connects with a crisp jab.
Sanchez takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanchez.
Adamu misses with a looping left.
Sanchez misses with a head kick.
Sanchez throws a sloppy head kick and Adamu moves out of range easily.
Adamu could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sanchez looks for a takedown but Adamu sprawls well.
Adamu works Sanchez's body with a nice hook.
A punch lands to the side of Sanchez 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Adamu misses with a double jab
and Sanchez counters with a single leg into guard. Adamu didn't expect that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Adamu wants to get back to his feet but Sanchez passes into half guard.

Sanchez stops Adamu from getting back to his feet.
Sanchez moves nicely into side control.
Sanchez creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Adamu sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Adamu pushes Sanchez away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sanchez gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanchez decides to stand up, so the ref orders Adamu to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Adamu throws a big shot that misses.
Adamu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A jab from Adamu finds it's way through Sanchez's defenses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sanchez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Adamu tries to avoid it but Sanchez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Adamu to the ground. Adamu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Opoku Adamu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Loco Sanchez.
Adamu throws a sloppy head kick and Sanchez moves out of range easily.

Adamu looks to land a combination but Sanchez avoids it well.

Sanchez dives in and scores a takedown into Adamu's guard.

Sanchez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Adamu is looking to stand up but Sanchez isn't so interested in that idea.
Sanchez not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Adamu wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Sanchez manages to pass to side control.

Adamu is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Adamu bucks up and tries to throw Sanchez off but instead Sanchez has got his back!
Sanchez just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sanchez is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Loco Sanchez dominated that round.

Sanchez shoots in but Adamu avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sanchez moves into the clinch.
Adamu wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sanchez has him pressed against the cage.
Sanchez jumps guard but Adamu stands there with Sanchez around his waist. Sanchez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sanchez has Adamu pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sanchez pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Adamu tumbling to the mat - Sanchez dives into Adamu's guard.
Adamu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sanchez controls the pace.
Adamu is wriggling around but Sanchez manages to pass to half guard.

Adamu is looking to get back to is feet but Sanchez passes into side control.

Adamu is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Sanchez breaks from Adamu's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The referee warns Adamu that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
It looks like Opoku Adamu has been cut.
Adamu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A nice elbow there by Sanchez.
Adamu is rocked!
Opoku Adamu's cut is getting worse.
Sanchez is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Adamu is forced to tap! Great finish!
