Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Madaras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eye Phone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madaras comes to the cage accompanied by "Not Falling" - Mudvayne. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Madaras!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eye Phone!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phone lands a lovely overhand right.
Phone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Madaras counters with a nice low kick that buckles Phone's knee momentarily.
Phone throws a combination that misses
and Madaras counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Madaras defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Phone.

Phone drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Phone wants to pass the guard but Madaras is keeping the position.
Madaras avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Phone throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Phone in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Madaras knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Phone on the ground.

and Madaras counters with a series of strikes. Phone will be more careful next time no doubt.

Phone shoots in but Madaras avoids the takedown attempt easily.
David Madaras has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eye Phone.

Madaras takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Madaras counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Phone thinking.

Madaras ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Phone moves away.
No joy there for Madaras, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Phone working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Phone trying to control the position from guard on top but Madaras is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Phone sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Madaras's guard.

Phone trying to mount his opponent but Madaras defends it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eye Phone dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Madaras tries to close the distance and clinch but Phone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Phone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Phone has Madaras pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Madaras manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Madaras for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

The crowd cheers as Madaras lands an impressive looking overhand right. Phone doesn't seem phased though.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Madaras takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Madaras stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Madaras wants it to stay on the feet.

Eye Phone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Phone throws a right hand that Madaras ducks under and follows up with a left that Madaras also avoids with ease.

Eye Phone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Madaras leaves Phone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nice straight punches there by Madaras. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Madaras.
