Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Ronbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Perry's choice of entrance music: Cara Dillon vs. 2 Devine - Black Is the Colour (Coco & Green Remix). On his way into the cage it seems that Ronnie Ronbo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ronnie Ronbo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ronnie Ronbo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Perry!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronbo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ronbo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Perry.
Perry misses with the combination.
Ronbo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ronbo throws a leg kick but Perry moved away.
Perry lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Ronbo manages to break the clinch.
Chuck Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ronbo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Perry feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ronbos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ronbo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Perry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ronbo tries to clinch up but Perry circles away and keeps his distance.

A punch lands to the side of Ronbo 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Perry shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Perry tries to free his leg and advance position but Ronbo is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Perry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Perry gets to his feet. Ronbo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Ronbo throws a leg kick which misses Perry's front leg but catches the back leg as Perry tries to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ronbo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Perry has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ronbo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Perry manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Perry throws a series of punches but Ronbo moves out of range.

and Ronbo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Perry's knee momentarily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Perry shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ronbo eats them both and turns towards Perry to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Nice uppercut lands for Perry. That snapped Ronbo's head back.

Perry takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A looping hook to the body misses from Perry. Ronbo does a little dance to reset his feet.

Perry is breathing heavily.

Perry is working for a guillotine from mount but Ronbo frees his head quite easily.
Ronbo tries to lock up and control but Perry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ronbo tries to reverse the position but Perry maintains control.

Perry moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ronbo has worked his arm free - good work by Ronbo!
Ronbo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Perry is controlling him well.

Ronbo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Perry on the ground.

Perry tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Perry thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ronbo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Perry is controlling him well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ronnie Ronbo will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Ronbo tries to close the distance and clinch but Perry swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Perry jumps guard and drags Ronbo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
