Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ Caspar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baron Von Barva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Barva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Imperial March. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Baron Von Barva was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caspar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Caspar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Von Barva paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Caspar fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Von Barva lands a nice shot that snaps Caspar's head back.
Caspar moves in looking to clinch but Von Barva pushes him off.
Caspar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Von Barva's waist but Von Barva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Caspar off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJ Caspar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Von Barva moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Von Barva connects with a looping right hand.
Caspar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Von Barva is fending him off so far but Caspar persists. Nope, Von Barva circles away and we're back to standing.
Von Barva stuffs the takedown.
Von Barva plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Caspar shoots in looking for a takedown. Von Barva tries to sprawl out of it but Caspar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Von Barva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Von Barva misses with a head kick.
Von Barva closes the distance and clinches.
Von Barva breaks from the clinch.
Caspar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Von Barva tests Caspar's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Von Barva lands with a slapping head kick.
Caspar is rocked!
Von Barva fakes the body blow, causing Caspar to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Caspar goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Baron Von Barva!
