Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Dibiase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Action - Def Leppard. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ted Dibiase! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dibiase is looking to clinch. Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dibiase. Dibiase misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dibiase doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Jackson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Ted Dibiase has been cut. Jackson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Jackson scores with a three punch combo!
Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jackson avoids the head kick by Dibiase.
Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dibiase moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jackson throws a one two combo.
Jackson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dibiase closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dibiase lands in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dibiase looking to pass the guard. Dibiase stops Jackson from standing up. Jackson wants to sweep here but Dibiase controlling him for the moment. Dibiase wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Jackson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dibiase! Jackson is breathing heavily. Jackson landing strikes from the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dibiase is in all sorts of trouble here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dibiase can do anything to dispel that myth. Jackson cracks Dibiase with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Dibiase is looking to improve his position but Jackson isn't that keen on the idea. Dibiase wants to hold on but Jackson pushes him away. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jackson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson prevents Dibiase from getting the reversal. Jackson landing strikes, looking to finish! Jackson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dibiase trying to punch from the bottom. They're landing but they're really not going to hurt Jackson. Jackson with the ground and pound from mount. Jackson avoids the attempt from Dibiase to control. Dibiase really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dibiase tries to buck Jackson off but he can't manage it. Jackson avoids the attempt from Dibiase to control. Jackson working for a submission but Dibiase is keeping him at bay. Dibiase wants to control but Jackson is having none of it.

Dibiase is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jackson looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jackson tries to control but Dibiase wriggling away. Dibiase is working to get back to half guard.

Chris Jackson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ted Dibiase's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jackson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dibiase's calf. Dibiase tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range. A good leg kick by Jackson. Dibiase throws a leg kick and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut. Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dibiase is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Dibiase circles away and we're back to standing. Dibiase takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dibiase throws a sloppy head kick enabling Jackson to counter with a crisp jab. Left hook, right uppercut from Jackson. Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Dibiase on that attempt. Dibiase has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Chris Jackson is winning the standup battle so far. Jackson looks to land a combination. Dibiase sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That has opened up Ted Dibiase's cut even more. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dibiase paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dibiase is breathing heavily. Jackson lands a jab-cross combination. Jackson looks to throw the jab but Dibiase is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson tries for a takedown but Dibiase sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dibiase looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jackson is fending him off so far but Dibiase persists. Nope, Jackson circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson closes the distance and clinches. Dibiase has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jackson regains guard immediately. Jackson keeping full guard, as Dibiase tries to pass. Dibiase wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Dibiase is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Dibiase trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dibiase must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dibiase makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jackson trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson wants to stand up but Dibiase is controlling him. Dibiase trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Jackson's corner calls for a 1-2. Jackson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Chris Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ted Dibiase. Jackson lands with a cross. Jackson lands a high kick!
Dibiase is rocked! Chris Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Dibiase is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
The cut above Ted Dibiase's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Jackson looks to land a combination. Dibiase sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Jackson's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Jackson duly obliges. Jackson is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Dibiase hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
