Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Clayton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Oath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clayton's entrance music is I Want It All. A fine choice. Ken Oath will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Oath!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oath lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.


It looks like Ethan Clayton has been cut.
Clayton keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Oath lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Oath fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Clayton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Clayton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Clayton postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Clayton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oath swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Clayton stands up over Oath, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.


It looks like Ken Oath has been cut.
Oath has Clayton pulled in close to control his posture.
Oath bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Clayton's guard.

Clayton is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Clayton has his foot on Oath's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Oath works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Oath uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Clayton throws a shot from downtown. Oath moves away and avoids it.
Oath connects with a good right hand that stumbles Clayton. Clayton circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Jeez, Ethan Clayton's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Ken Oath seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The crowd cheers as Oath lands an impressive looking overhand right. Clayton doesn't seem phased though.

Ken Oath seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
