Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Dirk Diggles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soren Monkongtong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monkongtong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Diggles moves to clinch but Monkongtong breaks away
and Monkongtong counters with an outside leg kick.
Diggles tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Monkongtong counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Monkongtong showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Diggles.
Diggles throws a right hand that Monkongtong ducks under and follows up with a left that Monkongtong also avoids with ease.
Diggles wants to clinch but Monkongtong slips to the side
and Monkongtong counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Monkongtong pushes Diggles away with a front kick.
Diggles closes the distance looking to clinch
and Monkongtong counters with a flying knee. Nice.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Monkongtong scores with a jab.
Monkongtong getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Monkongtong, right into the meat.
Diggles moves to clinch but Monkongtong breaks away
and Monkongtong counters with a slapping leg kick.

Monkongtong scores with a head kick. Diggles tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Diggles misses with a body punch
and Monkongtong counters with a body kick.
Diggles with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Monkongtong to score with a decent uppercut.
Diggles is breathing heavily.
Monkongtong throws a front kick that sends Diggles stumbling back into the ropes.
Monkongtong lands a head kick that sends Diggles down! Diggles is flopping around the mat trying to get back up, leaving the referee no choice but to wave off the fight! Monkongtong is victorious!

Soren Monkongtong decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
