Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jon Hess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonichie Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hess comes to the ring accompanied by Curl Of The Burl. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jon Hess! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tonichie Hong! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hess lands an overhand right. Hong tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Hess scores with a jab to the body. Hong takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Tonichie Hong has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hong checks a leg kick. Hong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hong thuds his right hand into Hess's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Jon Hess has been cut. Hess checks a leg kick nicely. A nice leg kick lands there from Hong. Jon Hess seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hess throws a series of punches but Hong avoids them all with ease. Hong throws a hook to the side of Hess's head but Hess sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Hong is looking to land body kicks. Hong takes a shot right to the bread basket. Hong throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Hess lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Hong bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hess keeps Hong at a distance using the push kick. Hong looks winded! Hess lands with a nice body kick. Hess lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Hess bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hess paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Hong takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Hess works Hong's body with a nice hook. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hess, as that shot connected.
Hess throws a low kick but Hong moves out of range easily. Hong walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Hess! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jon Hess! Jon Hess retains his super heavyweight title! Jon Hess tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
