Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Don Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tidus Hunter! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane fails with a takedown attempt. Hunter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kane.
Kane shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunter sprawls well. He's pushed Kane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hunter drives through and clinches with Kane against the cage.

Hunter lands an elbow inside that Kane shrugs off. Hunter misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kane.
Kane tries to score a body lock takedown but Hunter shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kane fails to pull guard.

Hunter will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kane up against the cage. Kane is working for takedown but Hunter is calmly controlling the position for now. Kane is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hunter is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kane to the mat. Kane regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Hunter showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Kane has his foot on Hunter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hunter works his way back into a safe position though. Kane being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter drops back looking for a leg! Kane is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kane manages to kick Hunter off! Hunter jumps back into Kane's guard. Hunter wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kane is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hunter has his hands clasped together but Kane extends an breaks Hunter's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kane.
