Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kazuki Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faber has chosen California Love as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kazuki Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Urijah Faber!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams with a lazy takedown attempt

and Faber counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Faber performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Faber trying to mount his opponent but Williams defends it.

Faber looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Faber is trying to control. Williams wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Williams manages to get to full guard.
Faber trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom.

Faber's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Let's hope that Faber has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Urijah Faber.
Williams tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Faber swivels and escapes.
Williams doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Faber counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kazuki Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Faber is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Williams reverses the position - he's now on top in Faber's guard.
Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Faber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Williams drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Faber dives on top into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Urijah Faber was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Williams tests Faber's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and Faber counters with a shoot takedown. Williams fights it but they end up in guard.

Williams looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Faber looking to sit in guard and control but Williams gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Faber swivels though and keeps the full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Williams tries to stand but Faber is controlling from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Williams misses with a takedown attempt

and Faber decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Williams's guard.
Faber wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.
Faber not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Faber trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom.
Faber must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Faber is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Faber eventually gives up the hold.

Williams is trying to stand back up but Faber is controlling him

Williams looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Faber is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Williams sees it coming and defends easily.

Faber is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Williams wants to get back to full guard.
Faber is taking a breather. Williams says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Faber is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Faber is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Williams is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Faber is aware though and is defending well.
Faber wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.
Faber really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Urijah Faber has got the better of the ground game so far.

Urijah Faber has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Williams gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Faber has gone for a leg lock! Williams slips out almost immediately though and dives into Faber's guard.

Urijah Faber showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Williams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Faber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Williams is tightening it up a little... Faber has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Faber reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Faber taps out! Nice BJJ there by Williams!
