Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichiro Kosugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ford's entrance music is For What It's Worth. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford has a takedown stuffed.
Ford throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kosugi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ford tries to bum rush Kosugi with a series of wild strikes but Kosugi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ford tries to clinch up.
Eric Ford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kosugi looks to land a left hand but Ford moved out of range nicely.
Ford doesn't manage to clinch there - Kosugi circles away.
Kosugi scores with a sloppy right hand. Ford should have avoided that one.
Kosugi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ford tries to clinch but Kosugi moves away
and Kosugi counters with a right hand to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ford moves to clinch but Kosugi breaks away
and Ford takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ford wants to clinch up but Kosugi keeps it at a distance.
Ford clinches up against the cage.
Kosugi is pushing Ford up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kosugi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Kosugi scores with a nice short uppercut.
A frustrated look appears on Kosugi's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kosugi lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ford backwards.
Kosugi swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kosugi misses with a punch on the inside.
Ford wants to break free but Kosugi has control.
Ford escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ford takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Ford fails with the takedown.
Ford is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kosugi lands a nice looking body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ford. Kosugi does a little dance to reset his feet.

Ford avoids the body shot from Kosugi.
Kosugi lands a jab to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Kosugi counters with a right hand to the body.
Kosugi waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ford.
Kosugi instigates a clinch.
Kosugi has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Ford pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kosugi, as that shot connected.
Kosugi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ford at a distance.
Ford looks to clinch
and Kosugi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Ford is breathing heavily.
Ford takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kosugi lands a big shot that drops Ford! Can he finish him?
Ford is rocked!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kosugi postures up and lands a big shot to Ford's brow.
Oh Ford is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kosugi trying to control the position from guard on top but Ford is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kosugi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ford's head.

Kosugi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Kosugi postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ford covers up, he's hurt! Kosugi keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kosugi and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kosugi can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ichiro Kosugi!
