Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Big Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Dorner!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jenkins on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.


It looks like Big Jenkins has been cut.
Dorner scores with a jab. Jenkins acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Dorner shoots for a takedown but Jenkins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Dorner gets a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jenkins drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dorner pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dorner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jenkins swivels and escapes.
Jenkins shoots in and drives through. Dorner sprawls well.
Jenkins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jenkins wants it to stay on the feet.
Big Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Dorner.
Dorner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jenkins is fending him off so far but Dorner persists. Nope, Jenkins circles away and we're back to standing.
Dorner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Some wild striking there from Dorner.
Jenkins avoids a punch combination nicely.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dorner enables Jenkins to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dorner manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Dorner keeping moving, preventing Jenkins from controlling successfully.

Jenkins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dorner is keeping the position for now.

Jenkins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jenkins postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jenkins postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Jenkins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Dorner working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jenkins.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins wants to pass the guard but Dorner is keeping the position.
Dorner is trying to keep Jenkins in close.
Dorner striking off his back but it's not causing Jenkins any problems.
Jenkins slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dorner wants to control but Jenkins postures up.
Dorner is working to avoid the ground and pound but Jenkins connects with a decent elbow.
Dorner is not content to let Jenkins control the position.
Jenkins scoring with punches and elbows.

Dorner tries to improve position but can't.
Jenkins landing a few strikes.
Dorner looks gassed!
Jenkins lands a nice forearm strike.


It looks like Dan Dorner has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jenkins is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dorner has escaped the position, nice work there.
Dorner tries to buck Jenkins off but Jenkins is having none of it.
Jenkins is chipping away with strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jenkins cracks Dorner with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Jenkins scores with a couple of short elbows.
Jenkins lands a decent elbow from side control.
Dorner takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.


That has opened up Dan Dorner's cut even more.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dorner is letting Jenkins control him for a moment.
Dorner is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Jenkins remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Check out the look on Jenkins's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!


Dan Dorner's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dan Dorner's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
